When the shit hits the fan you will all become refugees and will be looking for a country to take you in. Vote the PNM out . The pitch lake was sold to the Chinese, the oil refinery is shut down, they have made a deal with Venezuela who is bankrupt, land in Tobago has been leased for 100 years to Sandals resort, boats to Tobago out of commission, the coast guard boats are not patrolling the waters, guns and drugs are flowing in, crime is rampant, murders every few mornings.

Beautiful Temple in the sea at at Waterloo in Carapichaima, Trinidad and Tobago [WEST INDIES]
This Hindu Temple at in Trinidad is testament of one man’s love of Hinduism. The Temple was the 25-year attempt of Siewdass Sadhu to construct a worship centre at no-man’s land – the sea. Sadhu was denied land to build his beloved temple and took his struggle offshore, toiling and unloading buckets of dirt into the Gulf in an effort to create artificial land.
Overview
************
This Hindu temple was built through perseverance and strength. The Waterloo Temple, better known as Temple in the Sea, is an octagonal- shaped colourful structure. At the entrance of the temple, stands a statue of its designer Seedas Sadhu. Flags and statues adorn the temple’s perimetre. Before entering, you must remove your shoes because once inside, you are on holy ground. The beauty of reverence is reflected in the well-crafted murtis of Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva and Mother Durga and flowers adorned around them. The temple was first built in 1947 by indentured labourer Sadhu, whose dream was to build a place of worship. That dream was short lived as, five years later, it was destroyed by the government of the time since it was built on State-owned Caroni land. Not discouraged, Sadhu rebuilt the temple – this time in the sea to avoid the further incident. For the next 25 years, Sadhu dedicated himself to completing the temple. On his bicycle and in a leather bag, he carried stone by stone, assembling the base of the temple. In 1994, the government at the time helped finish the temple in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the coming of Indians to the country. A pier was added to ensure the Waterloo Temple could easily be accessed during high tide.

We all know a loner. They tend to enjoy spending as much time on their own as they can. Of course, they do have friends. It’s not that they dislike people.
They just have less of a need for peer acceptance than most. Often, loners have large groups of friends and have a higher standard for their friendships.
But still, many loners make the conscious decision to get plenty of time on their own. Why? According to a psychologist at Wellesley College, it’s because they don’t need acceptance.
“Some people simply have a low need for affiliation,” says Jonathan Cheek. “There’s a big subdivision between the loner-by-preference and the enforced loner.
Those who choose the living room over the ballroom may have inherited their temperament,” Cheek says.
“Or a penchant for solitude could reflect a mix of innate tendencies and experiences such as not having many friends as a child or growing up in a family that values privacy.”
Of course, it’s possible to be too much of a loner. Some loners close their borders, so to speak, because of anxiety. Some are pathologically shy.
Some have had bad experiences as kids. These types of loners tend to get butterflies around people. Social isolation can even be a health risk.
“Loneliness is like hunger and thirst—a signal to help your genes survive,” says John Cacioppo, a psychologist at the University of Chicago.
“When you’re lonely, there’s a stress response in your body, and it’s not healthy to sustain that for a long time.”
Of course, it takes all kinds, and loners tend to be smarter, more loyal friends. If you have an outgoing friend who abruptly becomes a loner, that may be cause for concern.
What do you think? Are you a loner? Here are 10+ special personality traits of people who like to be alone:
1. Value Time
If there is anything extremely important to a loner, it is their time. They respect and value time more than anything else. They are well aware time is the most valuable asset to a successful life.
They will do everything in their power to not be late, never waste someone else’s time, and will never allow someone to waste their time. They avoid fake behavior and cannot tolerate people that think they can be played with.
Through their self-awareness, they have developed a huge level of self-respect. Respect their time as they respect yours, and you can expect one of the most incredible friendships imaginable.
2. Self-aware
Many people choose to ignore their thoughts and emotions. Loners choose to embrace these feelings and become fully aware of them. Self-awareness is very important and difficult to achieve.
Loners know themselves better than anyone else, and this allows them to understand those around them better. Everyone has periods of depressive and discouraging thoughts, but loners are able to navigate through them.
3. Level-headed
Loners are amazingly strong willed when tough situations come their way. They have incredible focus and will power as a result of their frequent reflection and alone time.
They can feel overwhelmed by stressful situations, but instead of getting caught up with distractions, they decide to spend some time alone and recharge. During this time, they devise solutions to their problems and ways to cope.
4. Open-minded
Even though they like being alone, this does not make them rigid and close-minded. On the contrary, they are extremely open-minded and are always up for new idea and activities.
They don’t plan to spend their entire lives in their bedroom. They enjoy exploring and going on new adventures. However, you’ll need to make sure you give them their alone time before going anywhere that involves several people.
5. Loyal
Loners do not crave the company of others; however, this does not mean they don’t have friends. Once they get to like someone and want to be your friend, they will be one of the most loyal friends on the planet.
They know their value and worth. They exercise loyalty in all fields of life. Relationships, work, family, you name it.
6. Clear Boundaries
Loners always have healthy boundaries. They understand themselves perfectly. They have strong value. They never feel alone.
They know they always have themselves. They will respect your boundaries and will let you know if you are about to cross theirs. In the end, if you can’t be faithful to yourself, you cannot be faithful to anyone.
7. Aware Of Their Weaknesses/Strengths
Loners are more than aware of what their weaknesses and strengths are. However, they know that there is always room to improve no matter how good they think they’re doing.
Regardless of being self aware with these imperfections, they still hold their heads high to show others that it is okay to be confident with who you are.
8. Very Empathetic
They also tend to be some of the most empathetic people in the entire world. They are able to feel and sympathize with others on the same level as they are. It is a very intense curse to have when you are able to feel everyone else’s sorrow or despair.
However, since they are so empathetic, it is easy for them to find the bright side in almost any negative circumstance. They would rather find a resolution to whatever conflict is making their friends upset.
9. No One Is Perfect
Mentioned before about knowing their weaknesses and strengths, loners know that no one is absolutely one hundred percent perfect.
We all have our own flaws and ways to improve on, however, they know it is better to just go with the flow.
They do what they feel is right for themselves and for others and make sure that they address each flaw within themselves with honesty and how they can maybe improve on some of those imperfections.
10. Guided By Intuition
Your intuition is your constant guide through life, leading you to the next best thing that awaits you on your long journey of growing up.
There is a lot that can be said about you and your gut instincts when it comes to making tough decisions.
You don’t get scared easily because you know that your intuition will lead you somewhere just as amazing as the last adventure you had.
11. Never Codependent
There is never a time in your life where you feel as if you need to depend on someone else for anything at all.
You prefer to be your own person, even if you are in a relationship with someone else you still prefer to do things your own way.
Being dependent on someone else for trivial needs is something you try to avoid and will go great lengths to show others just how capable you are being on your own.
12. Filled With Kindness And Compassion
You love to demonstrate the meaning of compassion as well as kindness to others so that they can understand that spreading love is a necessary piece of your existence.
Showing others just how passionate are with the things that you love to do most as well as being with the people that you love most.
This is one of the best qualities to a personality that not everyone gets to witness.
The Invisible Thread Between Two People Who Are Meant To Be Together
Legend has it there’s an intangible string of fate that binds two people destined to be together. Those connected are bound regardless of time, place or circumstance.
Nothing can break the invisible thread between two people who are meant to be together.
1. Red.
The color red is strongly tied to attraction and desire. It is also the color of the string of fate that binds two soul mates.
2.Origins.
The red string of fate is derived from an ancient East Asian belief. According to this myth, the Gods tie a red string around the ankles of those that are destined to meet each other or help each other in a certain way.
3. Like a soulmate?
The concept is similar to the Western concept of a “soulmate” or a “twin flame.” What is different is that this proverb focuses more on the concept of being “bound” to someone rather than finding your other half.
4. The story.
Like many old legends, the story behind the red string is somewhat problematic. It is said that walking home one night, a little boy saw an old man reading a book. He asked him what he was reading. The old man said it was a book of marriages, and told the young boy he was destined to marry one girl. When he showed the little boy the girl he was to marry, though….
5. Trouble.
The boy didn’t like the idea because he didn’t want to get married. He threw a rock at her and ran away as fast as he could. Years later, a marriage was arranged between the boy and one of the most beautiful girls in the village. But, when he unveiled her he noticed…
6. Scarred.
His wife-to-be had a small scar over her eyebrow. When he asked her about it, she told him that a boy had thrown a rock at her as a child. Thus proving their fateful union…
7. What happens when it stretches and tangles?
At the crux of this proverb is submitting to a higher power. Destiny will take its course, and in time all will fall into place. It is important not to fight the red thread.
8. Still takes work.
Even if you find the person on the other end of the fateful red string, that doesn’t mean staying together will be easy. The proverb is meant to instill loyalty, devotion, and compassion. The string is also there to make sure lovers remain faithful to one another.
9. Infinite.
No matter how near or far you are from the person, the thread remains. There will be times when mentally or physically, you feel distant from the person, but that doesn’t affect the thread that binds you two together.
10. In us all along.
“The minute I heard my first love story I started looking for you, not knowing how blind I was. Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They’re in each other all along.”
11.In the hands of the Gods.
According to Chinese legend, the deity in charge of the “Red string of Fate” is believed to be Yuè Xià Lǎo the old lunar matchmaker god. Yuè Xià Lǎo is also in charge of marriages
12. Pinky Promise?
In Japanese culture it is said the red string is tied around the pink finger. Hence the phrase “pinky swear.” Originally it indicated that the person who broke their promise had to cut off their pinky finger!
13. Not just lovers.
Caroline Highland of Thought Catalog writes, “The red threads don’t wind their way around our ankles as we walk, don’t catch on us as we brush past things—the Chinese believe that they emanate from us from birth, from the moment we enter the world. As we age, with each passing year, the threads grow tighter, bringing us close to the people whose lives are destined to intertwine with ours in some way.”
14. Freeing?
The same writer interprets the red thread as liberating. “How much easier it feels to fling ourselves out into the unknown, into a new place or stage of our lives, knowing those red threads are there, winding out into the future as they always have been, holding onto souls that will be waiting to catch us, teach us, touch us, change us.”
15. Unbreakable.
According to Wikipedia, “The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break.”

Love of my life, you've hurt me,
You've broken my heart and now you leave me.
Love of my life can't you see,
Bring it back, bring it back,
Don't take it away from me because you don't know what it means to me.
Love of my life, don't leave me,
You've stolen my love, you now desert me,
Love of my life, can't you see?
Bring it back, bring it back,
Don't take it away from me because you don't know what it means to me.
You will remember
When this is blown over
And everything's all by the way
When I grow older
I will be there at your side to remind you how I still love you, I still love you.
Hurry back, hurry back,
Don't take it away from me, because you don't know what it means to me -
Please, bring it back home to me because you don't know what it means to me.
Love of my life
Love of my life...

Steve Jobs lied to his daughter about name of the Apple Lisa
It took a direct question from U2 frontman Bono in the South of France for the computer mogul to reveal the truth.
It might seem obvious that the AppleLisa, released in 1983, was named for Apple co-founder Steve Jobs' daughter Lisa, who was born in 1978.
But in her upcoming memoir, Small Fry, Lisa Brennan-Jobs reveals that her father lied to her about the name up until she was 27, and it was U2 front man Bono who exposed the truth.
In the fascinating and emotional excerpt, published in the September issue of Vanity Fair, Brennan-Jobs discusses her complicated relationship with her famous father, who denied paternity until a 1980 DNA test proved otherwise
As for the Lisa, it was a commercial failure, with 3,000 unsold computers later buried in a Utah landfill. When Brennan-Jobs bragged to her school friends about her namesake, they responded that they'd never heard of a computer called Lisa. But for Brennan-Jobs, the belief that it was named for her could bring her closer to the famous man who was, in some ways, more legend than family member.
When she was in high school, she finally asked him about it. "I tried to sound like I was curious, nothing more," she writes. "If he would just give me this one thing."
But Jobs denied it in a "clipped, dismissive voice," she says, adding, "Sorry, kid."
That was his claim until her father invited her on a yacht trip in the Mediterranean in the early 2000s, about five years before he died in 2011 of pancreatic cancer. They stopped by U2 founder Bono's villa in the South of France, where the singer himself confronted Jobs about the origin of the Lisa name.
After a long pause, her father finally admitted it was named for his daughter, and the truth helped Brennan-Jobs feel "a new power."
"That's the first time he's said yes," she told Bono. "Thank you for asking."

1. Red Rose
Easily the most popular type of rose, the red rose has long become a simple of love, passion and true romance. If this is the rose that you are most drawn to, it reveals your bold, ambitious and passionate nature. You know what you want in life, and you aren’t afraid to put the work into obtaining it. You do, however, value honesty – refusing to compromise your morals in the pursuit of your goals and dreams. Those who identify with the red rose are often referred to as workaholics, so driven to achieve that it becomes an obsession. Try to remind yourself that there is more to life, slowing down occasionally to simply enjoy all that this world has to offer.
2. Green Rose
Associated with healing, growth, and harmony, if you find yourself drawn to the green rose then you are likely the caregiver of your group of friends. You regularly prioritize the well-being of your friends and family over your own, making it important to stop and remind yourself that self-care is also highly important. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup! You value peace, balance, and tranquility in life, avoiding any conflict at every chance possible. The truth is, however, that some level of conflict is actually beneficial, and completely avoiding it will mean isolating yourself entirely from the world around you. You need to be prepared to step outside of your comfort zone from time to time.
3. Orange Rose
Those who are drawn to the orange rose tend to be the more emotional individuals in our world today. You are sensitive and compassionate, easily reading the emotions of the people around you and seeking to bring happiness and joy to everyone that you meet. You highly value your friendships and will make great sacrifices in your own life if you know that you can bring happiness to theirs. When the shoe is on the other foot, however, you have a hard time accepting these gifts from your friends, whether they are material gifts or kind gestures. Try to remember that friendship is a two-way street, and your true friends feel the need to care for you in the same way you feel the need to care for them.
4. Rainbow Rose
Like the beautiful and unique rainbow rose, you are truly one of a kind. You live in the moment, seeking out adventure and excitement each and every day. There is nothing that drives you insane more than sitting around or being bored! You are highly optimistic, always seeing the best in every situation that you encounter. Don’t allow anyone to dim the incredible light that you carry. You may not always feel understand or accepted, but you aren’t going to let that tear you down or change you. The square peg in a world of round holes, it may be hard to find where you fit, but when you do you will thrive! Keep looking, your place in the world is out there just waiting to be discovered!
5. Yellow Rose
You are truly a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark world. When times get difficult, your friends can count on you to be a beacon of hope, bringing a smile to the face of everyone that you encounter. What many don’t realize is that the reason you try so hard to bring happiness to others is because you struggle at times with your own darkness. You crave stability and connection in your life. Knowing that you can bring joy to others will, in turn, bring joy to you which often results in a large social circle, giving others the impression that you are the ‘social butterfly.’ You are a dreamer and are always looking forward at the good things to come, but be cautious – too much focus on the future may cause you to miss the great things that are happening around you here and now.
6. Blue Rose
Dedicated and disciplined, you are a hard worker and excel at everything that you do. You are reliable and trustworthy, so when you say you have something under control, you leave everyone else feeling calm and comfortable with the situation in your hands. You are incredibly calm and balanced, refusing to allow your emotions to blind your logical outlook on the world. You are wise beyond your years, which means that you are often the person that your friends come to when they are looking for advice. Try to remember the advice that you are giving, and to apply it in your own life when the situation calls for it!
